On-premises and white-label
Your servers or ours. Your brand either way.
Deploy LaserLMS in our cloud, as a dedicated instance in the region you choose, or inside your own data centre. Then make it entirely yours, from the domain in the address bar to the logo on the certificate.
Example on-premises topology
Your network or private cloud
Outside your network, optional
Three ways to deploy
The same features in every option. The difference is where it runs and who operates it.
| LaserLMS Cloud | Dedicated cloud | On-premises | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | Our managed cloud | A dedicated instance in your chosen cloud region | Your servers or private cloud |
| Isolation | Multi-tenant, logically separated | Single-tenant | Single-tenant, inside your network |
| Updates and backups | Managed by us | Managed by us | By us or your IT team |
| Domain | Your subdomain or custom domain | Your own domain | Your own domain |
| Typical time to launch | Days | Around 30 days | Around 30 days, depending on your environment |
| Best for | Fast starts and smaller programmes | Data residency and custom integrations | Strict security policies and full ownership |
White-labelling, all the way down.
Learners should feel they are on your platform, because they are. Branding can be set once for the whole platform or per company in a multi-tenant setup.
- Your domain and SSL certificate
- Logo, colours and favicon
- Branded login page
- Sender name and email templates
- Certificate designs
- Per-company themes
- Your own help and policy links
- No LaserLMS branding for learners, on every plan
On-premises requirements.
A standard, well-understood web stack your infrastructure team already knows how to run and secure. We size it with you for your users and peak exam windows.
| Operating system | Linux, for example Ubuntu LTS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux |
|---|---|
| Web server | Nginx or Apache with PHP 8 |
| Database | PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB |
| Caching | Redis, recommended for larger deployments |
| Storage | Persistent storage for course files, media and backups |
| Scheduled tasks | Cron for reminders, syncs and reports |
| Your SMTP relay | |
| Optional | Outbound HTTPS to your chosen AI provider for CourseTitan |
Own it outright.
Per-seat licences punish growth: every new hire, contractor or partner adds to the bill. On-premises LaserLMS is licensed for your organisation, not per learner.
- No per-seat licensing. Add learners, companies and partners without adding licence fees.
- No lock-in. Built on an open-source LMS core and open standards, so content and records stay portable.
- Your data, your rules. Retention, backups and access follow your policies.

Deployment questions
Something else? Ask us in a demo.
Can LaserLMS run fully inside our network?
Yes. The whole platform runs on your servers or private cloud. AI course creation needs outbound access to the AI provider you choose; you can leave AI features switched off if that is not allowed.
Who installs and maintains an on-premises deployment?
Either us or your IT team. We can install, configure and maintain it remotely, or hand over runbooks and support your team through upgrades and security patches.
Can we remove LaserLMS branding?
Yes, on every plan. The learner experience can carry only your brand: your domain, logo, colours, login page, emails and certificates.
What does owning it outright mean?
On-premises customers license the platform for their organisation rather than paying per seat, so adding learners does not add licence fees. Your data and deployment stay with you.
